General Information[]

Special rooms once unlocked via the Upgrade Trees, will start to show up in the dungeon. Most of those rooms present the player a minigame to play, with the chance to win an item or weapon on success.

See each room below for more detailed descriptions.

Claw Machine Room[]

The Claw Machine Room contains a big claw machine that can be activated for 10 x px per try.

It is unlocked in the first upgrade tree.

The big pool of items almost always guarantees to include some very powerful ones.

When active, the arm will move from the left to the right side of the machine. Two bombs appear below the arm that will do the same.

Pressing the Control.e.keyboard-key will stop the arm in it's current horizontal position and the claw will descend. If pressed again, the claw will close and retract to the top.

If the claw hits a bomb at any point - the attempt is over.

If the claw makes it to the top of the screen again, the player will be rewarded the caught item.

Piano Room[]

This special room is unlocked in the first upgrade tree.

The floor is made out of piano keys, that will produce a sound if you jump on them. At the entrance, you'll finde an arcade machine, which will let you play for 15 x Item Coin.

Once paid, you will see yellow blocks in the air above certain piano keys. When you jump on the first (lowest) piano key, a song will start to play and the yellow blocks start falling to the ground. You are supposed to hit the right piano keys in rhythm with the song as they appear. If you manage to hit every note to the end, you will be rewarded with an Item or Weapon.

Intersection Room[]

The intersection room provides the player with a choice of two paths (blue/pink). One of the rooms will contain usually an assortment of consumables/chests, the other one will have nothing or just some crates. When chosing one room, the other way will be locked off - the player will NOT be able to see the rooms contents before the other room is locked, so the descision is final!

It is unlocked in the second upgrade tree.

Dance Room[]

In the dance room, the player has to finish a quick-time-event minigame, where a button prompt is shown with a white circle closing in on it.

Each attempt costs 10 x Item Coin

Once the white circle reaches the outer circle of the button prompt - said button needs to be pressed to not fail.

Rewards either an item or a weapon on completion.

The dance room is unlocked in the second upgrade tree.

Fishing Room[]

In the fishing room, the player can catch coins, chests and even Items.

Each attempt costs 5 x Item Coin. This game uses the same quick-time-event as other special rooms do.

The fishing room is unlocked in the third upgrade tree.

Gift Room[]

The Gift Room is a room full of clown boxes. They can reward anything from coins to items. Be careful while opening, there are bad gift boxes, that will throw out three bombs that explode after five seconds as well as a new gift box. The explosions of the bombs will open other gift boxes, so a chain reaction of bombs triggering more bombs is very common.

The room is unlocked in the fourth upgrade tree.

Game Room[]

The Game Room is unlocked in the fourth upgrade tree. Each try costs 15 x Item Coin to play.

In this minigame, balls appear flying diagonally through the room and bouncing off walls. They are colored blue and pink and will change to the other color when shot. The player has to shoot the balls until they all have the same color before the timer runs out. If successful, this game rewards an Item or a weapon

Pain Room[]

The pain room is special, as it doesnt house a minigame. The player can get rewarded coins and an item if they damage themselves multiple times while in the pain room.

Brick Room[]

The Brick Room houses a single "Mario Brick".
It is unlocked in the fifth upgrade tree.
After paying 10 x Item Coin, the brick becomes active, cycling quickly through different reward images.
Once the player jumps with his head against the bottom side of the brick, the images will stop cycling and the player will recieve a reward based on the image that is shown.
The rewards range from consumables to a random item. If the player hits the bomb image, he will take damage and the game ends.

Zen Room[]

The Zen Room contains another unique minigame. Here, the player controls a bigger circle that has to be moved to stay on top of a smaller white circle. Each try costs half a heart (or shield if no hearts are available).
It is unlocked in the sixth upgrade tree.

While the smaller circle is covered by the player's circle, a green bar around the edges of the play area will start to fill up.
If the small circle escapes the player's circle, this bar will gradually decline again. When the bar fills completely, the player will be rewarded with an item. If it fully depletes, the try is over.
